For a burn: you bring everything, you take everything home, and nothing is sold on site the pool's usual list is shade, tents and canopies, generator, battery power station, solar, lighting. You are sleeping on site, so shade and power are the two that decide whether the week is bearable.

Where does the gear come from, and where do I collect it?

From other members. Each listing shows the town it is kept in — the pool's hub is Grass Valley, California, and members are spread across California, Oregon and Nevada. You collect from the owner, or arrange delivery with them as a priced add-on.

How much does it cost?

Each owner sets their own day rate, and the price you see on a listing already includes the service fee — nothing is added at the end. A deposit is held on your card and released after the return tap.

Do I need my own shade at Burning Man 2027?

Black Rock City, NV in August is not a place to arrive without it. The pool lists frame tents, canopies, Shiftpods and hexayurts. Hexayurts need fresh tape every single build — tape is never reusable, it is not included and the pool does not sell it, so buy your own before you go.
