- The event licence for this vehicle, sorted with the owner — An art car is licensed by the event, not by the pool. Most burns license the vehicle itself for that year, the application closes months before the gate, and a licence does not travel to a renter just because the rental does. Ask the owner what this vehicle is licensed for and for which year before you book. The pool does not apply for it, does not sell it, and no money changes hands for it.
- Night lighting that meets the event rule — It must be lit to move after dark. Every burn requires an art vehicle to be visible from all sides at night, and an unlit one is stopped or impounded. Check with the owner what lighting comes fitted and what you have to bring. Not rented, not sold by the pool, never cash to the owner.

Every dollar moves on the card, to the desk, when the booking is confirmed — the way a hotel or Airbnb works. No cash, ever, and no money passed between members: not for the rental, not for fuel, not for ice, not for damage. A member who takes cash is off the pool.
