Cookies and privacy
Short version: we set four small things in your browser, three of which the site cannot work without, and the fourth you can refuse without losing anything. No advertising network, no analytics company, no social tracker, and nothing on this site is loaded from a company that follows you elsewhere.

Your browser also keeps your theme, your motion setting and the language words it has already translated in its own storage on your phone. That never leaves the phone.
Your choice, changeable any time

Choosing "only what is needed" changes nothing about how the site works for you. Nothing is withheld, no page is slower, and there is no wall.
What the server writes down, cookie or no cookie
- Every request. The time, the address it came from, the page, the answer, how long it took, the browser and the country your network reports. This is how the founders see an attack, a scraper or a broken page. Kept 180 days, then deleted.
- Your member record, if you join: name, email, mobile, home address, date of birth, ZIP. The address and date of birth are on the record at the desk only — never shown to another member and never on a listing.
- Identity check: the verdict, the date, who checked it, and the name as printed on the document. No photograph of the document, no document number and no date of birth from it is ever stored.
- Handover taps: where a unit was when it was tapped out, on site and back. The desk always sees it. Another member never does, and the owner sees coordinates only where the owner and the renter have both said yes on that booking, either of them able to take it back in one tap.
- Messages, requests, bookings and payments as the agreement describes. Card numbers never reach this site: a payment happens on Stripe's own page.
Who else sees any of it
Founders of the pool, and the other side of a booking you are actually in. Beyond that: Stripe for a payment, Cloudflare which carries the traffic, and the vehicle decoder when you look up a VIN. Nobody buys this data, nobody is sold it, and it is not used to advertise to you anywhere.
Ask us
Ask a founder for a copy of what is on your record, a correction, or for the record to be closed and deleted, and say so through the desk or to the founder who invited you. What has to be kept after that is the short list the agreement and the law require of a rental record — a founder will tell you exactly which lines those are rather than guess.
