Everyone rents. What changes with the tier is how expensive the gear can get, and what the desk has seen you do with it. A $600 canopy and a $40,000 rig are not the same loan, so they do not sit behind the same door.
Camp
Everyone starts here. Free. Rent anything the pool values under $2,500: shade, cooking, lighting, small batteries, tools.

Crew
For the people who camp hard every season. Opens gear up to $10,000: e-bikes, big battery stations, PA rigs, trailers.

Pro
For working crews and vendors. Opens the whole pool with no ceiling: RVs, tow-behind generators, full production rigs. No renter service fee at all.

Why a ceiling at all
The gear at the top of the pool belongs to people who work off it: tow-behind generators, production audio, a motorhome someone lives in during the season. A renter at that level has to be able to carry the deposit, hold a policy, and hand it back the way they got it. The tiers are how the pool says that out loud instead of turning people down one at a time.
A founder moves you up. Dues are taken by the desk, not on this site yet, and they are separate from the rental price, the damage waiver and the deposit. Dues do not buy their way past the record: an unchecked ID or a first season with no returns behind you means the desk says not yet, whatever you have paid.
Your tier pays you on both sides. As a renter it sets the ceiling and the service fee. As an owner it sets what you keep: 80% at Camp, 85% at Crew, 90% at Pro of every rental. Nobody else’s tier can change what you are paid.
